Objectives

The Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) is the ultimate authority responsible for promoting the noble principles of accountability, transparency and integrity in all government bodies and institutions in Abu Dhabi, whether local or international, in which the Government of Abu Dhabi has a vested interest of more than 25%. With around 500 government and semi-government entities in Abu Dhabi under its supervision, ADAA recognized the need to implement an effective strategy management platform to achieve its goals and objectives. To achieve this, ADAA has partnered with PrimeTek, a specialist in local systems integration, and Positive Side Horizons, a leading strategic management consulting firm.

Goals

ADAA had a vision to implement a digital system that supports the Arabic language and allows ADAA teams to actively collaborate on a common platform that provides high clarity of performance and required procedures and helps focus in order to achieve strategic goals.
Positive Side Horizons worked closely with ADAA to understand its strategic goals and objectives, which were outlined in a strategy developed by one of the Big Four consulting firms. ADAA strategy is based on four main pillars, nine objectives, and a large number of projects and initiatives.

Approach

Positive Side Horizons implemented Ahdaf system, which allowed ADAA’s leadership to focus on strategic priorities and obtain a clear vision of performance at the level of sectors, departments and employees.

Ahdaf system was implemented in just six weeks, allowing ADAA to quickly start monitoring progress towards achieving its strategic objectives.
The system enabled the organization to develop actionable plans and allocate resources effectively to achieve its goals. Ahdaf also allowed ADAA to monitor progress towards achieving its strategic objectives, identify potential barriers, and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve its operations.
